Teaching-

Tatiana Echeverri Fernandez approaches teaching as an artistic and social practice—one grounded in rigorous experimentation, critical dialogue, and an ethics of care. With extensive experience lecturing, mentoring, and leading workshops at institutions across Europe and beyond—including HfBK Dresden, Krabbesholm Højskole, the Royal College of Art London, UdK Berlin, Goldsmiths, and Kunstakademie Düsseldorf—she supports students working across sculpture, digital media, and experimental design, and is especially committed to interdisciplinary approaches that move fluently between material research, theory, and emerging technologies.
Informed by her curatorial practice at Changing Room, her pedagogy is shaped by a commitment to diversity, inclusion, and the creation of safer learning environments. She cultivates spaces where multiple perspectives can be articulated and questioned, where students can take artistic risks and where constructive critique becomes a tool for both artistic precision and collective responsibility. Her teaching combines technical and material inquiry with attention to context—inviting students to think through how forms and systems, shape what art can do, and for whom.
